The checkpoint was set up as part of the Ministry of Interior’s nationwide “No Drugs No Dealers” campaign aimed at eradicating drug trafficking and use.

While officers were conducting random searches, a man riding a motorcycle passed the checkpoint displaying suspicious behaviour. He was stopped and searched, leading to the discovery of:

The drugs were found inside a sling bag he was carrying.

In addition to the arrest, authorities conducted urine tests on 39 motorists passing through the area. Three individuals tested positive for drug use.
All suspects, along with the seized narcotics, were taken into custody and transferred to the Sri Racha District Office for initial processing and record-keeping. They were then handed over to Bo Win Police Station for formal charges and further legal proceedings under Thailand’s narcotics laws.
