Pattaya, November 20th 2025 – Pattaya City Mayor Poramese Ngampichet, together with his secretary Phumiphat Kamolnath, officially welcomed Ms. Kanruthai Thit-orram, Deputy Head of the Pattaya Temporary Passport Office, who is currently acting as Head of the office following her recent appointment.
The courtesy meeting took place on Wednesday afternoon in Meeting Room 131 at Pattaya City Hall. Discussions focused on enhancing passport services for residents and visitors in the Pattaya area, with particular emphasis on improving efficiency, reducing waiting times, and strengthening coordination between Pattaya City administration and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Temporary Passport Office.

Key topics included measures to accommodate the growing number of tourists and foreign workers who require passport-related services, especially during peak seasons. Both sides agreed to work together closely to ensure that passport issuance and related procedures meet international standards while remaining fast, convenient, and responsive to the needs of the local community.
Mayor Poramese expressed his full support for the new acting head and reaffirmed Pattaya City’s commitment to making the city not only a leading tourism destination but also a place where essential public services are delivered seamlessly.

The meeting concluded on a positive note, with both parties pledging continued cooperation to create a “Better Pattaya” for everyone.
