The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has kicked off the “Trusted Thailand Bootcamp” initiative, which wants to empower tourism operators in the pilot provinces of Chonburi and Rayong with the knowledge and tools to achieve the Trusted Thailand certification and raise the nation’s tourism standards.
Ms. Aebalap Sriprom, Director of the Tourism Products Division, and Mr. Chalach Disthaporn, Director of the Tourism Product Development Department, led the proactive campaign. The bootcamp provided in-depth guidance on the application process for the Trusted Thailand symbol, while supporting operators in upgrading their products and services to meet international benchmarks.
The event, held at the Brighton Grand Hotel & Convention Pattaya in Chonburi, welcomed over 100 tourism operators, partners, and distinguished guests from Chonburi and Rayong. Mr. Patcharaphat Srithanyanon, Banglamung District Chief, delivered opening remarks to the attendees.Ms. Phatthranong Na Chiangmai, TAT Deputy Governor for Asia and South Pacific Markets, gave a special presentation on the current Chinese market landscape and strategies to rebuild traveler confidence through the Trusted Thailand symbol. The insights are designed to help operators apply the knowledge to enhance their offerings and reassure both domestic and international visitors.

– 24 November 2025 in BangkokIn parallel, TAT’s Tourism Products Division hosted STGs STAR Clinics, offering personalized consultations to help operators self-assess and align with all 17 Sustainable Tourism Goals (STGs) for long-term, responsible growth.TAT’s overarching goal is to ensure operators nationwide gain a clear understanding of the Trusted Thailand standards.
