Pattaya-
A heated confrontation at Jomtien Beach turned violent Friday morning when the female owner of a popular stall at a Jomtien area night market allegedly led nearly 10 associates in an attempt to assault a group of men, reigniting a grudge that began over two weeks ago.
The incident, captured in a 4:48-minute video shared widely on the Facebook page Yak Dang Deaw Jad Hai Return Part 7, shows a group of men surrounding and shoving a seated individual on the beachfront near Soi 12 on Jomtien Beach. The post’s caption decried the chaos, tagging local authorities and accusing “Pattaya mafia” elements of tarnishing the city’s image.
Reporters visited the scene Friday afternoon. Local residents confirmed the altercation occurred earlier that morning and was broken up by police, who escorted both parties to the station.

Speaking anonymously by phone, Mr. Ek (pseudonym), 52, a witness and member of the victim’s group, provided context:
On October 29th, his younger associate, Mr. B (pseudonym), 39, the man targeted in Friday’s video, was drinking with friends at a street food market when noise complaints escalated into a shouting match with the stall owner. The argument turned physical before the groups dispersed.
According to Mr. Ek, Jae, the stall owner, refused to let the matter rest. She allegedly stalked Mr. B in the days following, culminating in Friday’s beachfront ambush.
“We were just sitting by the sea this morning – me, Mr. B, and a few others,” Mr. Ek told The Pattaya News. “Then Jae showed up with almost 10 people, yelling and trying to attack him. I tried to calm things down, but it exploded like you see in the clip.”

In the footage, Jae is heard berating the group while her associates close in. One man throws a plastic chair; another hurls a phone, shattering its screen. Mr. B remains seated, hands raised in apparent surrender, as the mob presses forward.
Police eventually intervened, taking Mr. B and Jae to the station for mediation. Both sides were released after talks, with no charges reported at this time.
The incident has fueled online outrage, with netizens questioning safety in Pattaya’s tourist zones and calling for stricter oversight of vendor disputes along Jomtien’s bustling beachfront.
