Pattaya, November 6th, 2025– A 17-year-old boy was brutally assaulted and left with severe injuries in a dark, isolated alley in Pattaya after being lured there by a woman he met online, despite his mother’s warnings. The victim’s mother, tearful and distraught, urged police to swiftly track down the suspects.
The incident occurred around 9:00 PM on November 6th, 2025, in Soi Thepprasit 9. The Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue Center in Pattaya received a report of a youth being seriously assaulted and immediately coordinated with Pattaya City Police Station officers and volunteer rescuers to rush to the scene.

The location was a dimly lit, secluded alley with little foot traffic, flanked by overgrown bushes on both sides. Rescuers found the victim, identified only as “Mr. A” (pseudonym), aged 17, lying on the roadside in critical condition. His face was severely swollen, with blood streaming from his nose and mouth. Emergency personnel provided initial first aid before urgently transporting him to Pattaya Memorial Hospital.
A 30-year-old witness, “Mr. New”,, who was repairing his vehicle near his home close to the incident, described the events. He noticed a group of teenagers on 2-3 motorcycles speeding past his house, making loud noises. Suspicious, he stepped out to investigate and saw the group surrounding and attacking the lone victim at a quiet three-way intersection in the alley. Seeing the danger, he rallied neighbors to intervene, prompting the assailants to flee on their bikes.

The witness added that the injured boy later explained he had arranged to meet a woman via social media. Upon arriving, before he could even see her face, he was surrounded by a group of 5-6 people, including both men and women. One of them snatched his phone, smashed it on the ground, and the entire group then proceeded to beat him severely, leaving him in a pool of blood before escaping. Fortunately, the witness and others arrived in time to help.
The victim’s mother, upon learning of the attack, rushed to the hospital to be with her son. She revealed that her son works as a water delivery rider in the Sattahip district. Prior to the incident, he borrowed her phone to chat with the woman and arranged to meet in Pattaya. She had tried to stop him, warning him not to go, but he ignored her advice and rode off on his motorcycle. Shortly after, he called to say he had been attacked by a group. She is certain the woman he was meeting orchestrated the ambush. Checking the borrowed phone, she found evidence of their chats and meeting plans, which she preserved as proof. However, the woman later deleted the conversations and blocked him on Facebook.

As of now, Mr. A remains under close medical supervision at the hospital, undergoing brain and facial X-rays due to extensive swelling and bruising. Pattaya police have begun reviewing nearby CCTV footage to identify and apprehend the suspects for legal action.
Local residents in the area have also appealed to police to increase patrols in Soi Thepprasit 9, describing it as a secluded spot where groups of teenagers frequently gather to fight. They report occasionally hearing sounds resembling gunshots, causing significant fear among the community.
