Banglamung District Prepares Local Leaders for Tomorrowland 2026, World-Class Music Festival Expected to Boost Local Economy

Banglamung, Chonburi – November 6th, 2025 – Banglamung District Chief Mr. Patcharaphat Srithanyanon chaired a meeting with subdistrict heads (kamnan) and village heads at the District Community Hall to outline operational policies and prepare for the inaugural Southeast Asian edition of Tomorrowland 2026, the globally renowned electronic dance music festival.

During the session, Mr. Patcharaphat formally presented an official appointment letter to Mr. Chairong Sidanoi, Assistant Village Head for Security in Moo 3, Takhian Tia Subdistrict, effective October 15, 2025.

The district chief briefed attendees on preparations for Tomorrowland 2026, scheduled for December 2026 over three days at Wisdom Valley in Pattaya, Chonburi. The event marks the festival’s first staging in Southeast Asia and is projected to attract over 50,000 visitors daily, generating an economic impact exceeding 5 billion baht. Authorities highlighted the festival as a pivotal opportunity to elevate Chonburi’s and Thailand’s global tourism profile and stimulate local revenue.

Separately, the meeting addressed the Chonburi Provincial Red Cross housing initiative for 2026. Each subdistrict is tasked with nominating two underprivileged households for either new construction (budget capped at 200,000 baht per unit) or repairs (up to 100,000 baht per unit), including site plans and cost estimates.

Following the meeting, Mr. Montien Boonkrachang, Kamnan of Takhian Tia Subdistrict, and his family donated 100,000 baht to upgrade the District Community Hall to international standards, aligning with Bang Lamung’s status as a premier global tourism hub.
