Khao Mai Kaeo, Chonburi – November 6, 2025– A 19-year-old man suffered severe leg injuries early Wednesday when a Honda PCX motorcycle slammed into him while he was crossing a rural road, also leaving the 23-year-old rider and her 22-year-old passenger hurt.
The crash occurred at 7:00 a.m. on the Pong–Khao Mai Kaeo route near the ascent to Huay Luek Reservoir in the Khao Mai Kaeo subdistrict. Pattaya’s Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue Center received the alert and dispatched teams to the scene.
Rescuers found Mr. Sunthorn Khansorn, 19, lying on the roadside with a deformed left leg and multiple abrasions. He had been crossing to board an employee shuttle when struck.
Nearby, a gray Honda PCX lay overturned. Rider Ms. Wirongrong Nilasen, 23, sustained a large laceration above her left ankle and complained of left rib pain. Passenger Ms. Woranuch Wongsaa, 22, had facial injuries and scrapes across her body.
Ms. Wirongrong told officers she was en route to work at Amata City Industrial Estate in Rayong. A vehicle ahead had stopped for the pedestrian, but she failed to see Mr. Sunthorn crossing the shoulder and collided at full speed.
All three received first aid on-site before being transported to Pattaya Hospital for further treatment.
Huay Yai Police Station is investigating the incident and will pursue legal action based on further findings.
