In a meeting room at the Khao Maikaew Subdistrict Administrative Organization in Banglamung, local leader Jamnian Keetipakun held preliminary discussions with representatives from the organizers of Tomorrowland 2026, the world’s premier electronic dance music festival. The talks focused on positioning “Wisdom Valley Khao Maikaew” as the prime candidate for the event’s expansion into Southeast Asia.
Jamnian Keetipakun, President of the Khao Maikaew Subdistrict Administrative Organization, revealed that the session exchanged initial details on venue suitability, infrastructure readiness, transportation, accommodation, and environmental and safety measures to align with Tomorrowland’s global standards.
“Our Khao Maikaew isn’t just about beautiful mountains and nature; it has the potential to become a hub for music tourism, generating income, stimulating the local economy, and giving Thais a world-class experience,” Jamnian stated.
The Tomorrowland team toured Wisdom Valley Khao Maikaew and consulted with local authorities and private sector business owners. They expressed interest in the site’s proximity to Pattaya, convenient land and air access, and capacity to host large crowds.
If negotiations continue to progress positively, Tomorrowland 2026 in Chonburi would mark the first time the world’s top-ranked music festival is held in Thailand, elevating the country’s tourism profile and boosting Chonburi’s international reputation.
