Sriracha, Chonburi – November 4th, 2025– A chilling incident caught on closed-circuit television (CCTV) has shown the dangers faced by women, after a 32-year-old department store saleswoman was stalked and nearly assaulted by a suspected sexual predator who followed her to her home in the Sriracha district.
Ms. Suthanya Manao-wan, a sales employee at a well-known department store in central Sriracha, and her 33-year-old boyfriend, Mr. Kongsak Phaetsriwarothai, an employee at a company in Ao Udom, reported the ordeal to local media.

According to Ms. Suthanya, the incident happened around 8 a.m. on the day in question. After dropping off her mother at work, she stopped to buy grilled chicken and rode her motorcycle back home, unaware that a man on another motorcycle was tailing her closely.
Upon arriving home, she parked her bike in front of the house and entered, locking the door behind her. She noticed the suspect’s motorcycle parked nearby but assumed it belonged to a neighbor and thought nothing of it. Inside, she began eating her meal while caring for her pet cat.

Moments later, as the cat approached the front door, Ms. Suthanya glanced outside and spotted a man in a pink shirt peering into the house, staring directly at her. Startled, she shouted, “Who’s standing there?” and moved toward the door to investigate.
The intruder immediately backed away and headed to the front yard. Realizing the danger, Ms. Suthanya screamed for her boyfriend, who was sleeping in another room: “There’s a thief in the house! There’s a thief!”

Hearing the commotion, Mr. Kongsak rushed out just as the suspect bolted to his motorcycle and sped off. Mr. Kongsak gave chase on his own bike, pursuing the man for nearly 10 kilometers through Sriracha town center. The suspect weaved erratically through traffic before ultimately escaping.
CCTV footage from the home captured the entire sequence, showing the suspect – described as a stocky man wearing a full-face white helmet, a long-sleeved red shirt with white and black accents, three-quarter shorts, and flip-flops – riding a blue Honda Wave motorcycle without license plates. He is believed to be a foreign national, she said.

Ms. Suthanya expressed profound fear, trembling as she explained the event to The Pattaya News”I think he was a pervert rather than a burglar,” she said. “His behavior suggested he was stalking women – following them home, assuming they might be alone, and peeping inside. It’s extremely dangerous. If a woman is home by herself, he could break in, assault, or sexually attack her.”
She noted that women often dress casually at home – in towels or minimal clothing – which could make them more vulnerable. “Luckily, my boyfriend was here today, or who knows what might have happened. I always lock the door, but if I hadn’t, or if I were alone…”
The couple plans to file a police report immediately at Laem Chabang Police Station to ensure the suspect is apprehended quickly and prevent him from targeting others. They urged anyone with information about the man to contact authorities.
Ms. Suthanya issued a strong warning to other women: “Always lock your gates and doors properly, and stay vigilant. This could happen to anyone.”
