Full Moon Party Canceled for November 2025

Koh Phangan, Thailand – November 2nd, 2025

The iconic Full Moon Party on Haad Rin Beach, scheduled for November 5th, 2025, has been officially canceled.

The decision follows the passing of Her Royal Majesty Queen Mother Sirikit on October 25th, 2025, at age 93. Thailand has entered a period of national mourning, with major public events suspended out of respect.

Organizers confirmed the cancellation via official channels, stating: “The Full Moon Party will not take place this month.” The Jungle Experience event on November 4th has also been called off. Loy Krathong events will continue, however, but in a traditional and cultural manner while mourning the Queen Mother.

Despite the short notice, planning for each party begins nearly a year in advance—starting in December of the previous year—with logistics including international DJ bookings, safety protocols, and infrastructure setup.

The next Full Moon Party is expected to resume in December 2025, coinciding with the start of high season.

Travelers are advised to check ferry schedules and consider alternative activities on the island.
