Pattaya, Thailand – November 1st, 2025 – A 28-year-old Pakistani DJ was severely beaten by a gang of more than 10 men believed to be motorcycle riders in a shocking roadside attack captured on CCTV outside Wat Chai Mongkhon Royal Temple in South Pattaya. The victim, identified as Mr. Mughal Usama, sustained multiple injuries and has filed a police report, providing security footage as evidence to track down the assailants.

The incident occurred in the early morning hours of October 31st, 2025, along the road in front of the temple on Pattaya South Road, directly opposite Pattaya City School 8. Mr. Usama, who works legally as a DJ at a local entertainment venue, reported the assault to media outlets at approximately 9:36 p.m. that same day.

According to Mr. Usama, he had just driven a short distance after stopping at a red light when the group of men on motorcycles pulled up alongside his vehicle and ordered him to stop. “They asked, ‘Are you looking for trouble?'” Without provocation, the attackers began punching him, causing him to fall along with his motorcycle. The group then kicked, stomped, and struck him repeatedly, even removing his helmet to use it as a weapon. Mr. Usama suffered swelling and bruising to his head, facial abrasions, and scratches across his body. He displayed his injuries during the interview.

The victim speculated that the attack may stem from a minor incident two days prior, when a rider honked at him aggressively. Mr. Usama said he simply asked why the horn was being sounded but insisted there was no argument or escalation. He could not confirm if the same individual was among the attackers. “I’m terrified now,” he added. “I have to use this route every day to go to work and back home. I urge authorities to apprehend these people and proceed with legal action as quickly as possible.”

Initial investigations confirm that Mr. Usama formally lodged a complaint with Police Lieutenant Ittiporn Tangchutawitthaphap, Deputy Investigation Officer at Pattaya City Police Station.

The provided CCTV footage clearly shows the gang—numbering over 10 men on motorcycles—surrounding the victim and forcing him to pull over. They immediately unleashed a barrage of punches to his face, knocking him to the ground with his bike. The assailants then swarmed him, delivering kicks, punches, and stomps while ignoring pleas from nearby residents to stop. One attacker repeatedly bashed Mr. Usama with the detached helmet before the group fled the scene on their motorcycles.

Police are reviewing the video evidence to identify and apprehend the suspects.
