Pattaya, Thailand – October 30th, 2025 – The Pattaya Elderly School welcomed its fourth cohort of seniors on Wednesday, kicking off a holistic health promotion program aimed at transforming participants into “Smart Seniors” through physical, mental, social, and intellectual development.
Theerak Jatupong, Deputy Mayor of Pattaya, presided over the opening ceremony held at the Thapphraya Conference Room in Pattaya City Hall. The initiative, titled “Pattaya Elderly School for Happiness – Batch 4,” targets residents aged 50 and above, with 100 spots available per batch.
Classes will run every Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., starting in October 2025 and continuing through April 2026, all at Pattaya City Hall. The curriculum covers foundational training in four key areas: physical health, mental well-being, social engagement, and intellectual growth.
The program seeks to create a learning space where seniors can showcase their potential, share life experiences, acquire vocational skills for income generation, and maintain physical and emotional health. Organizers stress reducing isolation, boosting vitality, and building self-pride among participants.
“High age doesn’t mean loneliness,” the school’s slogan declares, showing its mission to empower Pattaya’s elderly population with meaningful opportunities for growth and connection.
