Sri Racha, Chonburi Province– A middle-aged motorcyclist riding against traffic and abruptly crossing lanes blocked the path of a mother and her young son heading to school, resulting in a violent crash that left three people injured, including the mother in critical condition and unconscious.
The incident occurred around 8:00 a.m. on October 31st, 2025, on Sri Racha-Nong Kho Road in Moo 5. The Sawang Prateep Sri Racha Rescue Center received a report of a motorcycle collision involving three injured parties, one in serious condition and unconscious. Rescue teams coordinated with ambulances from the “Lanthom” emergency unit at Somdej Phra Borommarajathewi Hospital at Sri Racha, along with officers from Sri Racha Police Station, to respond to the scene.
At the site, authorities found two overturned Honda Wave motorcycles: one black with license plate Khor Thor 560 from Ubon Ratchathani Province, and the other black with plate 3 Kor 4824 from Chonburi Province. The injured included:
– Mr. Jamras Krasaesom, 52, the rider of the Ubon Ratchathani-registered bike, who sustained head injuries and multiple abrasions across his body.
– Ms. Ornicha Yatbamrung, 30, who suffered a large head wound with heavy bleeding and was found unconscious at the scene.
– Ms. Ornicha’s young son, a schoolboy riding as a passenger, who had only minor abrasions.

Rescue personnel rushed Ms. Ornicha and her son to a local hospital for urgent treatment.
CCTV footage reviewed by investigators revealed that Mr. Jamras was riding against the flow of traffic from the opposite side of the road. He then crossed into the oncoming lane and stopped, waiting to proceed amid stalled vehicles. As he maneuvered across to the left shoulder, he veered into the path of the mother-son duo, who were traveling straight on their way to drop the boy at school. The impact struck the middle of Mr. Jamras’s motorcycle, hurling all three riders to the ground and causing the injuries described.
However, when questioned, Mr. Jamras claimed he was riding normally on the road and was about to turn left when the mother and son, approaching quickly from behind, rammed into the side of his bike, leading to the crash.
Authorities confirmed that the CCTV evidence contradicts Mr. Jamras’s account. With clear video proof available, there are no disputes in the legal proceedings said police. Police will pursue charges against the at-fault party in accordance with the law.
