Chonburi, Thailand – October 29th, 2025– Khao Kheow Open Zoo in Chonburi Province is gearing up for a spooktacular Halloween celebration with its “Zoo Halloween Party!” event, running from October 31st to November 2nd, 2025, at the zoo’s Tourist Service Center.
Sri Sak Suk Chum, Assistant Director of Khao Kheow Open Zoo, announced today that the event aims to add fun and unforgettable experiences for visitors of all ages. The festivities will feature a range of exciting activities, including eerie-yet-adorable photo booths equipped with fancy props, hats, masks, and temporary tattoos.
Participants can join the “Snap & Share” challenge by taking photos in the Zoo Halloween zone, posting them under the event post on the zoo’s Facebook page (สวนสัตว์เปิดเขาเขียว), and using the hashtags #KhaoKheowHalloween68 and #สวนสัตว์เปิดเขาเขียว. In return, they’ll receive free Halloween-themed candy and toys (while supplies last).
The zoo’s beloved animals will also get in on the action, with special treats like carved pumpkin fruits and ghost-shaped watermelons presented to fan favorites such as the hippo “Mu Deng” and the giant capybaras, allowing them to celebrate alongside guests.
Khao Kheow Open Zoo extends an open invitation to the public, tourists, and families to don creative fancy dress or ghostly costumes and immerse themselves in the unique Halloween atmosphere, complete with numerous photo spots scattered throughout the zoo.
For night owls, a highlight is the “Halloween Night at Khao Kheow Night Zoo” under the theme “Trick-or-Treat, But No Tricks on Deals” – offering a genuine 20% discount on admission throughout the event dates from October 31 to November 2, 2025.
