Bangkok, October 29, 2025 – The Thai Meteorological Department (TMD) has issued its third weather warning of the season (No. 310/2568), forecasting increased rainfall and isolated heavy downpours across upper Thailand and the upper South from October 29 to November 2.
The change will begin in the Northeast and East, spreading to the Central region (including Bangkok and surrounding areas), North, and upper South in sequence.
The system is driven by a strong low-pressure cell currently over southern Vietnam’s coast, moving westward along the monsoon trough through the East, lower Central, and upper South before entering the upper Andaman Sea. Converging easterly and southeasterly winds over the North will further enhance rainfall.

TMD advises farmers to protect crops from potential damage and urges the public to monitor health amid fluctuating conditions. Motorists should exercise caution in rain-affected areas, while residents in low-lying or flood-prone zones are warned of possible flash floods.
Sea conditions will also deteriorate, with waves exceeding 2 meters in thunderstorm areas of the Gulf of Thailand and Andaman Sea. Small boats are advised to remain ashore during this period.
The public is encouraged to follow updates via the TMD website at http://www.tmd.go.th or the 24-hour weather hotline at 0-2399-4012-13 or 1182.
