Pattaya Mayor Launches Thailand National Swimming Championships for Central Region 1

Pattaya, Thailand – On October 23rd, 2025, Pattaya Mayor Poramese Ngampichet presided over the opening ceremony of the Thailand National Swimming Championships for Central Region 1 at the swimming pool of Pattaya City School 11. The event saw participation from 460 athletes representing 53 swimming clubs from Central Region 1, alongside parents, officials, and competition committee member Thanakorn Udomthanakulchai.

Held from October 23–25, 2025, at the Pattaya City School 11 swimming facility in Chonburi Province, the championship is supported by the Swimming Association of Thailand, Pattaya City, and various public and private sports organizations. The event is to promote and develop the potential of Thai swimmers to excel at national and international levels, build strong relationships among member clubs, and serve as a platform for establishing Thailand’s national swimming rankings across various age groups. Additionally, it provides an opportunity to select outstanding athletes for international competitions.

The organizers hope this event will elevate the standards of Thai swimming, strengthen teamwork among clubs, and inspire the next generation of young athletes.
