PATTAYA, Thailand – A heated dispute at a popular Pattaya nightclub has concluded peacefully, with both parties reconciling and withdrawing their prior legal complaints, police confirmed on October 21st, 2025.
The incident began back on September 26th, 2025, at around 4:30 AM, when Mr. Rohit, a 33-year-old Indian tourist, filed a complaint with Pattaya City Police Station. He alleged that he was assaulted and threatened with a weapon resembling a firearm by security guards and the manager of a well-known nightlife spot on Walking Street as we reported here. The conflict reportedly stemmed from a dispute over drink charges and a necklace that was allegedly not returned.

In a new development, Mr. Aniruj Kongsap, a lawyer representing the club, accompanied Mr. Bittuu, the 35-year-old Indian general manager, to meet with investigators at Pattaya City Police Station on the evening of October 21st, 2025. Mr. Bittuu provided additional statements, asserting his innocence and requesting the withdrawal of all complaints. Earlier, on October 1st, he had surrendered a “fake gun”—revealed to be a designer lighter—to the police for examination, as we reported here.
During the meeting, both parties engaged in an open and candid discussion in the presence of police officers. Speaking through an interpreter, Mr. Rohit admitted that the incident was a “misunderstanding.” He explained that he was intoxicated at the time and mistook the lighter for a real firearm, leading to panic and a verbal altercation.

Mr. Bittuu clarified that there was no intent to cause harm, stating that the interaction was meant as playful teasing among acquaintances, as both parties were already familiar with each other.
Following the discussion, the two sides reconciled, embracing and forming a “mini heart” gesture with their hands in front of the media as a symbol of restored friendship. Both confirmed they would not pursue further legal action and agreed to withdraw all complaints.
The resolution has brought closure to the case.
