The procession began at the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation (Naklua Shrine), led by the revered Poysian Joew Siew. The route proceeded left through the Pho Ngam intersection, past Wutthikorn Building Materials shop, turned right onto Sukhumvit Road (against traffic), and continued right onto Sawang Fa Road. It passed the Naklua New Market, turned right at the Nam Chai intersection toward the old market, and reached Lan Pho Public Park before turning left to the beachfront for the ceremonial installation of the deities at the Naklua Shrine. This time-honored tradition marks the official start of the Pattaya Vegetarian Festival 2025, symbolizing auspiciousness and spiritual cleansing.

The festival, held from October 20 to 30, 2025, at the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation (Naklua Shrine), features a variety of vegetarian food stalls surrounding the shrine. Devotees and the public can purchase plant-based meals to observe the festival’s practice of abstaining from meat, promoting compassion and mindfulness.

Pattaya City invites everyone to participate in this meritorious event, the “Pattaya Vegetarian Festival 2025,” to experience spiritual fulfillment and culinary delights. For more information, contact the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation at 038-222-1380, 038-222-2380, or 089-095-7799.
