Together with the Rotary Sister Club Krungthep Mahanakorn Bangkok, the Rotary Club Global Pattaya recently carried out a vaccination campaign for children at the Anti Human Trafficking and Child Abuse Centre ATCC in Pattaya.

In addition to providing important medical protection, we wanted to bring joy to the children’s day, so small gifts were distributed after the vaccinations. The flu vaccine helps protect the children against influenza, which is especially important in a setting where they live and play closely together every day.
A delegation and medical team traveled from Bangkok to Pattaya, and through the cooperation with the Rotary Club Global Pattaya, this humanitarian project became possible. Club President Rosemarie Gamito (Pattaya) organized everything with great dedication, while President Dr Yam Rungpailin Rattanacheeworn, Bangkok, and a practicing physician, led the event flawlessly.
Members from both Bangkok and Pattaya took part in the campaign. One particularly touching moment came when Madam Golf from Bangkok spoke to the children from the heart: “I had no parents, and you have no parents. But with will and determination, you can make it in life.”
Her words, filled with empathy and hope, perfectly captured the spirit of Rotary, service above self and compassion that transcends borders.
