Beijing, China – The team from the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, led by Minister Atthakorn Sirilatthayakorn, together with Natthriya Thaweevong, Permanent Secretary, and Thapanee Kiatphaibool, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), attended the “Amazing Thailand Networking Dinner” on 16 October 2025. The event aimed to strengthen strategic cooperation with key partners in China’s tourism sector.
Organized by the TAT Beijing Office, the dinner brought together the major players in China’s outbound travel industry, including UTour, Caissa, Qunar, Tongcheng, China Comfort Tourism (CCT), China Travel Group (CTG), 6renyou, ZX-Tour, Hainan Airlines, and Air China. It formed part of Thailand’s proactive mission under the “Big Impact, Act Fast” policy, focusing on tangible results in reviving and elevating the Chinese market for Thailand.
As Thailand and China celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations, the event marked an important step in strengthening “Strategic Connectivity” and highlighted the expanding cooperation between the public and private sectors of both countries, paving the way for long-term growth in Thailand’s tourism industry.
The Minister and TAT executives strengthened confidence among Chinese partners and presented the Trusted Thailand initiative, aimed at enhancing the standards and safety of Thai tourism while promoting Thailand as a quality destination. Chinese partners expressed their readiness to deepen collaboration through increasing flight connections, developing new travel packages, and continuing to promote Thailand’s positive image in the Chinese market.
