Pattaya, Thailand – October 19th, 2025 – In an operation early this morning, Pattaya City Police took action against a group of reckless teenage motorbike racers causing disturbances along Sukhumvit Road. The crackdown, led by Police Lieutenant Colonel Suchat Dusadee and Deputy Lieutenant Panasat Khrongsit, followed complaints from residents about noisy, high-speed racing disrupting the community and endangering road users.

At approximately 2:00 AM, police patrols set up surveillance near the Lotus supermarket and Pattaya City School 7 in Nongprue, where the illegal races frequently occur. Officers soon spotted a group of over 20 motorbikes, with some riders seen performing dangerous stunts such as wheelies and aggressive speeding, accompanied by loud exhaust noise. Acting swiftly, police cordoned off the area and brought the situation under control.

The operation resulted in the seizure of three motorbikes and the detention of more than ten male youths aged 14 to 19. The apprehended teens were taken to Pattaya City Police Station for documentation, vehicle inspections, and to contact their guardians for release. They were also warned about the legal consequences and dangers of their actions. Some racers also did not have proper licenses, insurance, or registration, or safety measures like helmets.
