Chaired by Deputy Mayor Mr. Kritsana Boonsawad, the meeting focused on enhancing safety measures and disaster preparedness in Pattaya. Attendees included Mr. Wutthithon Saengurai, a Pattaya City Council member, Mr. Sitthichai Ardtsong, a Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization member, and relevant officials. Mr. Khomkrit Phonwichit, Director of the Disaster Prevention Division, presented an overview of the plans and progress.
The fire safety and evacuation drill, scheduled in early December of 2025, is to ensure readiness for emergency situations and provide effective assistance to those affected in high-traffic areas. Discussions also included a proposal to procure additional equipment and tools to enhance operational efficiency and response capabilities during unforeseen incidents.

Deputy Mayor Kritsana explained the importance of the drill, stating, “Ensuring preparedness and safety in Pattaya is a critical part of our efforts to make the city as secure as possible. We need systems in place to handle any situation that may arise, building confidence among residents and tourists, particularly in densely populated tourist areas like Walking Street.”
