PATTAYA, Thailand – An accident occurred at 12:00 PM on October 5th, 2025, on Sukhumvit Road near Pattaya Soi 42, resulting in one fatality and two injuries. Police Lieutenant Sakayaphap Chaidech, Deputy Investigator from the Pattaya City Police Station, responded to reports of a collision between a sedan and motorcycles, coordinating with rescue volunteers from Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Pattaya to attend the scene.
At the site, authorities found three injured individuals. The first, a male Bolt motorcycle taxi rider operating a black Honda Click, sustained only minor abrasions and was attended to by rescue personnel. The second, an Indian male passenger, suffered minor injuries. Both were provided first aid at the scene.
The third victim, identified as Mr. Prakasit Suwannamee, 34, was riding a black Royal Enfield big bike. He sustained severe injuries, including a critical neck wound and a fractured collarbone. Despite over 40 minutes of CPR by rescue teams, Mr. Prakasit succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Nearby, a bronze Honda sedan was found with damage to its left door. The driver, Mr. Chang, a 53-year-old Chinese national, remained at the scene to provide a statement to police.
Eyewitnesses reported that the sedan driver, traveling from South Pattaya, signaled a left turn into Sukhumvit-Pattaya Soi 42 while in the second lane. The Royal Enfield, moving straight at high speed, was unable to brake in time and collided forcefully with the sedan’s left door, causing the injuries and fatality, with the Bolt taxi rider falling shortly after.
