Late-Night Head-On Collision Near Pattaya Leaves Multiple People Injured

Banglamung, Thailand – A severe car accident occurred in the early hours of October 5th, 2025, at 3:00 AM, when a pickup truck driver veered into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a sedan in Soi Phonpraphanimit 7. The crash left several people injured, bringing an immediate response from local authorities and rescue teams.

Police Lieutenant Officers stationed at Nongprue Police Station received the report and coordinated with the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue Unit in Pattaya to rush to the scene. Upon arrival, responders found a white Isuzu D-Max pickup truck blocking the right lane, its front end severely damaged. The driver, a Thai man approximately 40 years old who declined to provide his name to the media sustained minor injuries. A female passenger in the pickup suffered chest discomfort due to the impact.

Nearby, a white Mazda 3 sedan was found off the road with extensive front-end damage. The driver, Ms. Sujanya, 45, sustained a laceration on her arm, while another female passenger in the sedan suffered minor injuries. Rescue personnel provided first aid at the scene before transporting the injured to a nearby hospital.

According to the pickup truck driver, he had been returning from a social gathering and was unfamiliar with the route, causing him to veer into the opposite lane and collide with the oncoming sedan. Ms. Sujanya, the sedan driver, stated she was driving normally in her lane when the pickup suddenly crossed over and struck her vehicle, leaving no time to react.

Police have documented the scene and are conducting a detailed investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident. Both parties will be summoned for further questioning as authorities proceed with legal actions.
