Chonburi Governor Bids Farewell and Retires

On Tuesday, September 30th, 2025, Mr. Thawatchai Srithong, Governor of Chonburi Province, concluded his distinguished career as a civil servant upon reaching the mandatory retirement age for the year 2025.

In the morning, accompanied by Ms. Prapassara Srithong, President of the Chonburi Red Cross and First Lady of the Chonburi Interior Ministry, Governor Thawatchai paid respects to the province’s sacred sites. He also delivered a farewell address to government agencies, expressing gratitude to both public and private sectors for their dedicated teamwork during his tenure.At 4:30 p.m., Mr. Thawatchai and Ms. Prapassara descended from the governor’s office on the third floor of the Chonburi Provincial Hall. They were warmly greeted by deputy governors, the provincial chief administrator, department heads, and officials, who presented flowers as a gesture of love and respect. The heartfelt send-off highlighted Governor Thawatchai’s impactful service, leaving a legacy of dedication and contributions to Chonburi Province and its people.
