PTT Oil Hosts 2025 Regional Media Engagement Event, Reinforcing Product and Service Quality While Driving Sustainable Growth

Bangkok, Thailand – PTT Oil and Retail Business Public Company Limited (OR) held its 2025 Regional Media Engagement Event at the Rama Gardens Hotel in Bangkok. The event was attended by Mrs. Kanjanee Udomkulvanich, Executive Vice President of Petroleum Terminal Operations, and Mr. Piman Poolsri, Executive Vice President of Retail Oil Business, alongside OR executives, who welcomed media representatives from six provinces: Saraburi, Khon Kaen, Songkhla, Chonburi, Lampang, and Chiang Mai.

The event aimed to reinforce confidence in OR’s product and service quality, build understanding, exchange insights, and strengthen ties with regional media networks. Attendees also visited Tatsuno (Thailand) Co., Ltd., a manufacturer of globally standardized fuel dispensers, and OR’s health and beauty retail store, part of its lifestyle business portfolio.

This year, OR explained the safety standards of its petroleum and oil terminals nationwide, which adhere to international engineering benchmarks. These facilities feature automated gas detection and suppression systems, regular equipment testing by certified external agencies, and ongoing emergency response drills together with government bodies and local communities. These efforts are to build public trust while promoting social initiatives aligned with ESG principles, such as the “OR Volunteer for Happiness,” “TOGETHER,” “Rubber with Care, I Care for You,” and “How to Dispose for Good” projects.

PTT Station reaffirmed its commitment to fuel dispenser accuracy, with all units certified by the Weights and Measures Office and compliant with international standards (UL/ISO/OIML). OR also participates in the Ministry of Commerce’s Fuel Dispenser Standard Project to ensure precise fuel measurements. Fuel quality is rigorously monitored from source to dispenser using mobile laboratories.

OR is also expanding its EV Station PluZ network, with over 1,250 electric vehicle charging stations and more than 3,300 charging points nationwide. The EV Station PluZ app now supports booking, charging, payment, and loyalty point accumulation in a single platform, catering to the rapidly growing EV market. Additionally, OR supports local communities through initiatives like “Thai Ded” and “Happiness Sharing Space,” offering free retail space at fuel stations for farmers and local entrepreneurs.

In its lifestyle business, OR is building a comprehensive ecosystem with found & found, a health and beauty retail chain offering Thai, Japanese, and Korean products targeting health-conscious younger consumers. With 12 branches currently open, OR aims to expand to 500 by 2030.

The event displayed OR’s commitment to transparent, safe, and sustainable operations, positioning itself as a positive force for inclusive growth under its vision of “Empowering All toward Inclusive Growth – Fueling Opportunities for Collective Progress.”
