Chonburi, Thailand – On September 22nd, 2025, a merit-making ceremony took place at the village headman’s office in Moo 3 in the Takhian Tia Subdistrict. Mr. Somyot Tokiri, the village headman, warmly welcomed the executive team and staff from The Clinic Hospital, led by Dr. Aphiruj Thongwat, Chief Executive Officer of The Clinic Medical Clinic Co., Ltd. The group gathered to participate in a ceremony to redeem the lives of 117 cows. The event was attended by Mr. Phongphan Thamma, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Livestock Development, along with livestock officials from Chonburi Province.

Dr. Aphiruj revealed that The Clinic Hospital has been conducting a monthly cow redemption program, saving five cows each month, and organizes two large-scale merit-making events annually, redeeming 100 cows each time. This year, the hospital increased its efforts, redeeming a total of 117 cows. A team of veterinarians from the Chonburi Provincial Livestock Office thoroughly examined the health of each cow before they were handed over to farmers in Phayao and Khon Kaen provinces.

This act of redeeming cows is considered a profound merit-making gesture, believed to bring blessings, happiness, and prosperity to those involved. Additionally, it provides meaningful support to farmers in these regions, building sustainable livelihoods through livestock care.
