PATTAYA, Thailand – On Monday, September 22nd, 2025, the Heart Centre at Bangkok Pattaya Hospital, a Centre of Excellence within the Bangkok Dusit Medical Services (BDMS) network, hosted the “International Cardiology Conference 2025” under the theme “Heart Care 360° – Innovating Today for Tomorrow’s Global Challenges.” The event, held from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM at the Seaboard Ballroom on the 17th floor of Hilton Pattaya, was focused on bringing Thailand’s cardiac care to global standards.
The conference showcases the Heart Centre’s vision to lead regional advancements in cardiology by adopting a comprehensive “Heart Care 360°” approach. This focuses on prevention, advanced interventional treatments, rehabilitation, and the integration of digital technologies in cardiac care.

The event featured two key sessions:
1. **Preventive Cardiology**: Focusing on early intervention through personalized risk assessments, algorithmic care planning, heart-healthy nutrition trends, and digital cardiac rehabilitation programs.
2. **Interventional Cardiology**: Exploring cutting-edge technologies, including procedures for Chronic Total Occlusion (CTO), Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI), and management of STEMI and MINOCA cases, alongside the use of imaging and AI in diagnostics.

A major part of the conference is the participation of globally renowned experts from Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, a leading institution in cardiac care. Dr. Francisco Lopez-Jimenez, MD, FACC, a specialist in Preventive Cardiology, and Dr. Rajiv Gulati, MD, PhD, FACC, an expert in Interventional Cardiology, will share insights with Thai specialists.

Local experts include Dr. Kongkiat Kespechara, President of BDMS Groups 3 and 6; Dr. Piyaporn Tippayarat, Director of Bangkok Pattaya Hospital and Jomtien Hospital; Dr. Parinya Chomsang, Director of the Heart Centre at Bangkok Pattaya Hospital; Dr. Man Chantavimon, Cardiologist from Ramathibodi Hospital; Dr. Kitti Nakchantuk, Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Bangkok Pattaya Hospital; and Dr. Siam Hanpipat, Rehabilitation Medicine Specialist at Bangkok Pattaya Hospital.
