Pattaya Loma Run on The Beach Coming This Weekend to Jomtien With Partial Road Closures

Pattaya, Thailand – The city of Pattaya, together with the HHN Foundation for Thai Children and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (Pattaya Office), will hold the 11th annual “LOMA RUN ON THE BEACH 2025” charity run on Sunday, September 21st, 2025, at Jomtien Beach. The event aims to promote physical fitness, highlight the beauty of Pattaya’s beaches, and establish the city as a Sports City while boosting sports tourism.

The event features two race categories:- **Fun Run (2.5 km and 5 km):** Starting at 4:00 AM at the Jomtien car-free zone by the Dongtan Police Box the route proceeds left onto Jomtien Soi 1, left at the Matchanu intersection, onto Thappraya Road, and left into Phra Tamnak Soi 6, leading to Dongtan Beach before returning to the starting point.-

**Mini Marathon (8.5 km):** Also starting at 4:00 AM from the Jomtien car-free zone, runners will turn left onto Jomtien Soi 1, right at the Matchanu intersection onto Jomtien Second Road, make a U-turn at Chaiyaphruek intersection, return via Jomtien Second Road, pass Matchanu intersection, continue to Thappraya Road, turn left into Phratamnak Soi 6, and finish at Dongtan Beach.

Both races will conclude by 10:00 AM, with participants receiving trophies and dolphin mascots as awards.To ensure participant safety, Pattaya City will close one left lane along the race route from 4:00 AM to approximately 10:00 AM, while keeping the right lane open for regular traffic. Normal traffic flow will resume after the event.

Pattaya City requests the cooperation of residents and motorists to avoid the affected routes during the specified time and apologizes for any inconvenience caused.
