PATTAYA, Thailand – A 58-year-old British tourist, Mr. Duncan, was seriously injured after being attacked by a group of four transgender individuals in a Pattaya condominium early this morning on September 12th, 2025. The incident occurred at approximately 5:36 AM at a condo in South Pattaya.
Police Lieutenant Mana Sak Pholayiam, Deputy Inspector from the Pattaya City Police Station, received a report of a violent assault and dispatched officers, along with volunteers from the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue Foundation, to the scene, accompanied by The Pattaya News reporters. Upon arrival, authorities found Mr. Duncan with multiple lacerations to his head and blood covering his face. Rescue personnel provided immediate first aid before rushing him to a nearby hospital for urgent medical treatment.

According to Mr. Duncan, the incident began when he hired two escorts online for companionship, expecting female companions. However, four transgender individuals arrived at his room instead unexpectedly. When he refused their services, the group demanded 10,000 baht per person, totaling 40,000 baht. An argument ensued, escalating into violence when the group allegedly attacked him with a knife, inflicting severe head wounds. Mr. Duncan managed to escape and sought help from the condo’s security staff, while the assailants fled the scene before police arrived.
Police Lieutenant Mana Sak stated that Mr. Duncan is currently receiving medical treatment, and a detailed statement will be taken once he is stable. Authorities have launched an investigation, with the Pattaya police coordinating with the investigation unit to track down the suspects. It is believed that surveillance footage captured the group and backs up Mr. Duncan’s story, and efforts are underway to apprehend them for legal prosecution.
