Pattaya Mayor Welcomes 2,500 Chinese Tourists, Signals For Increased Tourism Recovery in Chinese Market

PATTAYA, Thailand – On September 9th, 2025, at 7:00 PM, Pattaya Mayor Poramese Ngampichet warmly welcomed a group of over 2,500 Chinese tourists at a gala dinner held at Nong Nooch Tropical Garden.

Mayor Poramese presided over the event, expressing his honor in hosting the convention of the Chinese Sansheng Group in Pattaya. “This is the first major event Sansheng has held here since the pandemic, a testament to their trust in Pattaya and the success of past events,” he said. “After the challenges of recent years, this gathering shows us the value of reconnecting and opens the door to new hope.”

The mayor extended gratitude to Sansheng Group Chairman Huang Jinbao for attending and praised his visionary leadership, which has driven the organization’s growth. Highlighting Pattaya’s appeal, Mayor Poramese spoke about the city’s stunning beaches, rich cultural heritage, and warm hospitality, expressing hope that the visitors would leave with unforgettable experiences.
