Banglamung-
On September 2nd, 2025, the area in front of the Khao Mai Kaew Subdistrict Administrative Organization (SAO) meeting hall came alive with the “Jatujak Community Market,” held on the first Tuesday of every month. The market buzzed with activity as residents and vendors showcased a variety of household goods, including fresh garden vegetables, traditional Thai sweets, processed products, and locally made items from the community.

Mr. Jamnian Kheetipakoon, the head of Khao Mai Kaew SAO, stated that the community market initiative is a continuous effort supported by the SAO to provide locals with a platform to sell their products. The project aims to reduce household expenses, promote grassroots economic growth, and make stronger bonds among community members.

Looking ahead, the Khao Mai Kaew SAO plans to transform the community market into a creative economic hub for the subdistrict. This includes increasing the variety of goods, encouraging the formation of occupational groups, and improving the quality of local products to meet higher standards, all to ensure sustainable income for residents.
