Pattaya, Thailand – At approximately 11:00 PM on September 1st, 2025, a startling incident unfolded on Sukhumvit Road near the North Pattaya Motorway intersection. A woman, described as being in her late 30s to early 40s, was reported running across traffic in a near-naked state, causing alarm among motorists, including an ambulance driver from the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue Foundation.
Good Samaritans alerted authorities after witnessing the woman, who was wearing only pants and no shirt, darting erratically in front of vehicles. The chaotic scene brought a swift response from both the rescue team and Pattaya City Police, who rushed to the location to manage the situation.
Upon arrival, officers found the woman in a distressed and confused state, running along the roadside and speaking incoherently. It took considerable effort to calm her down and secure the scene without further incident. No injuries were reported.
The woman was taken to Pattaya City Hospital for a thorough medical and psychological evaluation, as well as appropriate care. Meanwhile, police are investigating the underlying cause of the incident to prevent future occurrences.
