Pattaya Nightclub Raid Finds No Drugs, Five Vapes Seized

PATTAYA, Thailand – At 3:30 AM on August 31st, 2025, Mr. Nattawat Sophonsewatsilp, the Chief District Officer of Banglamung, led a joint operation with Pattaya Police to inspect a popular nightlife venue, “Z4 Pattaya,” located within the Excite Project on Third Road.

The raid uncovered a group of 99 customers and tourists—35 men and 64 women—inside the establishment. Authorities conducted identity checks and drug tests on all individuals present. No traces of illegal substances were found. However, five discarded e-cigarettes were discovered inside the venue, likely abandoned out of fear of legal repercussions. The items were confiscated as evidence.

Mr. Nattawat stated that the inspections are part of an ongoing government initiative to combat drug use, as directed by Banglamung District Chief Mr. Patcharapat Sritanyanon. He noted a positive trend, with fewer violations observed in recent operations and some venues showing no drug-related activity. “These efforts will continue to ensure safety and confidence for tourists and residents,” he affirmed.
