PATTAYA, Thailand – On August 30th, 2025, at 9:36 PM, the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue Unit in Pattaya received a report of a violent assault at an apartment complex located at Moo 10. Police from Pattaya City Police Station, alongside volunteer rescue personnel, quickly responded to the scene.
The incident occurred in a room on the fourth floor of the five-story apartment building. Upon arrival, authorities discovered a damaged door, signs of a struggle, and bloodstains on the floor. The victim, identified as Mr. Worathep Phiwanuan, 22, had sustained a severe stab wound to the back of his neck, resulting in significant blood loss. Rescue personnel provided immediate first aid before rushing him to a nearby hospital for urgent treatment. The assailant, accompanied by his girlfriend, had fled the scene prior to the authorities’ arrival.

According to the apartment caretaker, the incident stemmed from a parking dispute that escalated into a heated confrontation. The altercation began when the girlfriends of the victim and the assailant engaged in a verbal argument over a blocked vehicle, which escalated into a physical fight. The assailant, enraged on behalf of his girlfriend, stormed into the apartment and stabbed the victim in the head with a pair of scissors before fleeing with his partner.
Police have coordinated with investigative units to track down the suspect, gathering evidence and pursuing leads to apprehend him for legal action. The authorities are treating the case with urgency to ensure justice is served.
