PATTAYA, Thailand – On August 30th, 2025, at 5:06 AM, a task force led by senior district official Mr. Wanchai Wannapraham, under the directive of Banglamung District Chief Mr. Patcharapat Sritanyanon, conducted a raid on a restaurant operating as an unlicensed entertainment venue named “Feel Camp” in Soi Pattaya Tai. The operation followed complaints lodged with the Damrongdhama Center, reporting that the establishment was operating into the early morning hours, causing noise disturbances to local residents, and illegally selling a potent kratom drink known as “4×100.”
Upon arrival, authorities found the venue, located behind a row of residential accommodations, functioning as a hybrid restaurant and entertainment spot. The establishment offered barbecue pork, live music, and a full range of alcoholic beverages, effectively operating as an unlicensed bar. The lively atmosphere, complete with music catering to patrons, drew a big crowd.
Officials immediately ordered the music to be turned off and conducted identity checks, drug tests, and vehicle searches for illegal items. While no illegal items were found in the vehicles, urine tests revealed that six individuals—both staff and patrons—tested positive for drug use, indicated by purple-colored urine samples. These suspects were detained for further substance screening.
Additionally, the raid uncovered evidence of the venue illegally selling the “4×100” kratom drink, a potent concoction prohibited under Thai law. The six people who tested positive for drug use were taken to the Banglamung District Office for documentation and referred for rehabilitation. The person identified as the venue’s manager was charged with operating an unlicensed entertainment venue, selling alcohol beyond legal hours, and illegally distributing the kratom drink.
All suspects and evidence were handed over to the Pattaya City Police Station for further legal proceedings.
