Pattaya and Banglamung Police Inspect LK Metro Nightlife Venues as Part of No Drugs, No Dealers Campaign

PATTAYA, Thailand – On August 27th, 2025, at 8:36 PM, local authorities conducted a targeted inspection of entertainment venues in Pattaya as part of the Ministry of Interior’s “No Drugs, No Dealers” anti-drug campaign. The operation was led by Chonburi Governor Thawatchai Srithong and Banglamung District Chief Patcharapat Srithanyanon, under the directive of Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Phumtham Wechayachai, who is also acting prime minister.

The operation saw Natthaphop Yomjinda, head of Banglamung District’s security division, leading members of the Banglamung Territorial Defense Volunteers and Pattaya City Police in inspecting four nightlife establishments. The inspections included mandatory urine tests for employees to detect drug use.

The results of the inspections were as follows:

1. **LK Angels, Soi LK Metro**: Of 36 staff tested (3 men, 33 women), one employee tested positive for drug use and will be sent to rehab.
2. **Las Vegas A-Go-Go Club**: All 67 staff tested (7 men, 60 women) showed no traces of drugs.
3. **Fever A-Go-Go**: All 35 staff tested (4 men, 31 women) were clear of drug use.
4. **Destiny A-Go-Go**: All 50 staff tested (6 men, 44 women) showed no signs of drug use.

Authorities vowed to maintain rigorous and random inspections of nightlife venues in Banglamung District to uphold a “drug-free community” and enhance the area’s reputation. The ongoing campaign reflects a commitment to eradicating drug-related activities in Pattaya’s entertainment hubs.
