Pattaya, Thailand – On August 22nd, 2025, a local food vendor, Mr. Thanongsak Khotamang, 36, reported a brazen motorcycle theft to Pattaya media, providing CCTV footage of the incident. The theft occurred near his food stall on Jomtien Beach.
Mr. Thanongsak told The Pattaya News that at approximately 7:40 AM, while preparing his stall, he parked his white Honda Click motorcycle, registered with the plate JTR 515 Chonburi, across from his shop on Jomtien 2 Road. He inadvertently left the key in the ignition. A shirtless man wearing jeans and a black crossbody bag, described by witnesses as resembling a drug addict, was seen loitering near the vehicle. The suspect swiftly mounted the motorcycle, started it, and sped off. Mr. Thanongsak and others at the stall attempted to chase him but were unable to catch up.
The vendor promptly reported the theft to the Dongtan Curve branch of the Pattaya City Police Station, urging authorities to recover his motorcycle and apprehend the culprit.
