Indian Man Rescued from Drowning at Pattaya Beach, Remains in Critical Condition

Pattaya, Thailand – On the night of August 23rd, 2025, a man believed to be Indian, aged between 30 and 40, nearly drowned at Cozy Beach in Pattaya after suffering severe cramps while swimming. The man struggled and sank beneath the water, prompting swift action from nearby Good Samaritans.

Beach umbrella staff witnessed the incident and quickly called for help. Local bystanders rushed to assist, pulling the man to shore. Rescue personnel arrived quickly, performed CPR at the scene, and transported him to Pattaya City Hospital, where he remains in critical condition as of press time.

Police initially suspect the incident was caused by muscle cramps while swimming in the sea. Authorities expressed gratitude to the quick-thinking bystanders, noting that their intervention likely prevented a tragic loss of life.
