PATTAYA, Thailand – On Wednesday, August 20th, 2025, Ms. Thitipan Petchtrakul, Deputy Mayor of Pattaya, alongside Mr. Banlue Kullavanij, President of the Pattaya City Council, council members, and officials from the Pattaya Social Welfare Office, conducted a community outreach in the Nakluea area to distribute essential aid packages to bedridden patients and elderly residents. The initiative, part of the city’s proactive “Better Pattaya” policy, aims to enhance the quality of life for vulnerable citizens.
The team delivered aid packages provided by the Chonburi Red Cross to three recipients in the community. Ms. Jit Daengkaew, a bedridden patient, received an aid package along with an air mattress to improve her comfort. The second recipient, Mr. Sawan Thawai-sap, an impoverished elderly man whose daughter is battling cancer, was given an aid package and regular monthly financial support from Mr. Banlue, supplemented by additional funds from the Deputy Mayor. The third recipient, Ms. Saijai Lai-thongkham, an elderly woman in need, received an aid package and a commode chair to facilitate daily living.

The outreach was warmly received by the local community, reflecting Pattaya City’s commitment to proactive healthcare and welfare. The “Better Pattaya” initiative includes direct, home-based support, showing the city’s dedication to improving the health and well-being of its residents.
