The Bureau of the Royal Household has issued an official statement on the condition of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendira Thepwadi. Her Royal Highness has been under medical care at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital since December 15, 2022, after suffering a sudden loss of consciousness caused by a heart condition.
On August 9, doctors reported that Her Royal Highness had developed a severe bloodstream infection. According to the Bureau’s latest update, the infection has led to persistently low blood pressure despite ongoing treatment.
Physicians are administering medication and antibiotics to help stabilize Her Royal Highness’s condition, while also providing renal replacement therapy and respiratory support. The Bureau stated that the medical team remains in close and constant attendance, continuing to monitor and care for Her Royal Highness with the highest diligence.
