Thai Windsurfing Association Welcomes Singapore Olympic Council to Inspect SEA Games Venues

Pattaya, Thailand – On August 16th, 2025, the Windsurfing Association of Thailand, led by Secretary-General Mr. Pattana Boonsawat, along with association committee members and windsurfing athletes, warmly welcomed a delegation from the Singapore National Olympic Council (NOC), headed by Mr. Anthony Lee. The visit aimed to inspect competition venues for the 33rd SEA Games, which Thailand will host from December 9th to 20th, 2025, at Jomtien Beach’s multipurpose sports ground in Pattaya.

The delegation, accompanied by SEA Games technical officials and representatives from the Sports Authority of Thailand and Chonburi Province, evaluated the windsurfing, jet ski, and paragliding venues. The inspection covered competition standards, starting points, maritime safety measures, accommodation facilities, and medical services to ensure compliance with international standards.

The visit’s objective was to assess the readiness of the venues and facilities, with findings to be reported to the NOC Singapore chairman. This will aid in preparing Singapore’s national team for the upcoming SEA Games, set to take place in Pattaya later this year.
