British Mans Alleged Reckless Motorcycle Stunt in Pattaya Leads to Crash and Attack

PATTAYA, Thailand – A British man’s alleged reckless motorcycle stunt sparked chaos in Pattaya late Thursday night, resulting in a serious accident and a violent confrontation. The incident occurred at 11:06 p.m. on August 14th, 2025, in Soi Bongkot 8. The British man, however, has denied all charges and responsibility despite many witnesses and reported CCTV evidence.

According to the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue Unit, a collision between two motorcycles left a 49-year-old Thai woman, Ms. Jurairat Phettratsa, critically injured. Emergency responders found her pink Honda Scoopy overturned on the road, with Ms. Jurairat suffering severe head injuries and abrasions. Rescue workers performed CPR at the scene before rushing her to a hospital.

The other party involved was a young unidentified British man riding an electric off-road motorcycle. Witnesses reported that he was allegedly performing wheelies along the street, endangering other road users. At the time of the crash, he allegedly lost control while lifting his front wheel, colliding with Ms. Jurairat’s motorcycle and sending both vehicles skidding.

Tensions escalated when the young British man, possibly in his early 20s, reportedly denied responsibility, claiming Ms. Jurairat was at fault, and claiming he did nothing wrong. Outraged bystanders, having witnessed his alleged reckless behavior, attacked him, leaving him injured. Police and rescue volunteers struggled to restore order amid the chaotic scene. The British man then received first aid before being transported to a hospital accompanied by several friends who refused to identify themselves.

Multiple eyewitnesses told authorities that the British rider had been recklessly performing wheelies throughout the area, nearly hitting other pedestrians and vehicles. At the point of the crash, Ms. Jurairat was riding normally when the British man’s stunt caused the collision. After the incident, he allegedly attempted to shift blame, inciting the crowd’s anger. He reportedly has continued to say as of press time he isn’t at fault and claims to have done nothing wrong.

Pattaya police are reviewing nearby CCTV footage to determine the exact cause of the accident and ensure justice for all parties involved. The investigation is ongoing.
