On August 10th, 2025, the fields of Moo 6 in the Na Roek Subdistrict of Phanat Nikhom District came alive with colors and enthusiastic cheers as locals gathered for the annual Buffalo Racing Festival, a celebrated tradition of the region.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Mr. Wittaya Khunpluem, President of the Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization, with Mr. Anan Peedasuthisitsit, Member of Parliament for Chonburi, joining to add excitement and support the participants.
Mr. Suphachai Phrophimonrungrot, President of the Na Roek Subdistrict Administrative Organization, stated that the event aims to preserve and promote the buffalo racing tradition, a unique cultural hallmark of Phanat Nikhom.
Beyond the thrilling buffalo racing competition, the festival featured entertaining activities such as a pig-catching contest with trophies, creating a joyful and lively atmosphere. The event drew a large crowd of enthusiastic spectators, showcasing the community’s spirit.
