Pattaya, Thailand – August 3rd, 2025
At 3:00 PM on Sunday, August 3rd, 2025, a heartfelt relief mission was launched from the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation in Pattaya. Led by Banglamung District Chief Mr. Patcharapat Sritanyanon and Pattaya City Mayor Mr. Poramese Ngampichet, alongside Pattaya City Council President Mr. Banlue Kulavanich, council members, and foundation representatives, the group mobilized a convoy of large trucks loaded with essential supplies to aid flood victims in Nan Province.
The relief supplies, including rice, dried food, drinking water, medicines, clothing, and other necessities, were gathered through donations from government agencies, private sectors, and generous Pattaya residents. The convoy departed immediately for Nan to deliver urgent aid to those affected by severe flooding.
Mayor Poramese discussed the effort, stating, “Banglamung District, Pattaya City, and the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation have worked together to collect these essentials for our brothers and sisters in Nan. Donation points were set up from July 25 to 31 at the foundation, Terminal 21, Pattaya Police Station, and Wat Chaimongkol, with collections extended until August 5th. Supplies will also support evacuation centers in Sisaket and Surin from the ongoing border conflict.”

Speaking on behalf of Pattaya’s residents and involved organizations, the mayor expressed solidarity and gratitude: “We send our heartfelt support to those facing this disaster and thank everyone who donated to help our fellow Thais in need. Pattaya is committed to being a hub for relief coordination during crises.”

The event, attended by the Pattaya Police Chief and numerous compassionate citizens, highlighted the unity and generosity of the Pattaya community. For our most recent update on the Northern floods click or tap here.
