Second Army Region Command Issues Afternoon Update on Cambodia Thailand Military Situation

The Second Army Region issued a military situation update at 3:00 PM:

Ubon Ratchathani:

– Defensive lines have been solidified by both forces in the Chong Bok sector.
– F-16 jets executed precision strikes on Cambodian troop gatherings near Chong An Ma.
– At Phu Makhua, targeted attacks damaged Cambodian supply cable systems, hindering their logistics.

Sisaket:

– Armored divisions advanced in the Sam Tae area of Kantharalak District, securing key positions through direct assaults.
– At the Phu Phee observation point near Don Tual Temple, F-16s bombarded enemy targets at Chong Ta Thao.
– At the Satta Som post in Kantharalak District, Thai forces neutralized two Cambodian tanks.
– In the vicinity of Preah Vihear Temple, tank units delivered heavy artillery barrages, supporting infantry efforts to reclaim the area.

Surin:

– Sporadic clashes persist around Chong Chom.
– Cambodian forces have reinforced their defenses at Ta Kwai Temple; Thai troops initiated a follow-up offensive to seize control.
– Thai units hold defensive positions at Ta Muen Thom Temple, countering Cambodian offensive maneuvers.
