Sriracha, Thailand – On July 17th, 2025, Bangchak Sriracha Refinery held a scholarship award ceremony at its multipurpose building in Sriracha District. Mr. Anuwat Rungruengrattanakul, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Bangchak Sriracha Public Company Limited, presided over the event, which celebrated the distribution of scholarships from the Bangchak Refinery Education Fund for the 2025 academic year.
The ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including the Deputy Director of the Chonburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 3, the Deputy District Chief of Sriracha, the Deputy Mayor of Laem Chabang Municipality, school administrators, community leaders, media representatives, and the student recipients.
Mrs. Thipsukon Duangthip, Manager of Public Relations and Office Administration, delivered a report highlighting the objectives of the Bangchak Refinery Education Fund. Established in 1999 with an initial donation of 1,000,000 baht, the fund aims to support dedicated and well-mannered students in their educational pursuits. Over the years, continuous contributions have grown the fund to 3,502,469.77 baht. Since its inception, the program has awarded 6,254 scholarships totaling over 13 million baht to students in Sriracha District.
For the 2025 academic year, employees of Bangchak Sriracha contributed an additional 586,000 baht to the fund, enabling the allocation of 152 scholarships. These include 87 scholarships of 3,000 baht each for primary school students and 65 scholarships of 5,000 baht each for secondary school students.
Mr. Anuwat stressed the importance of using the scholarships wisely, urging recipients to maximize their educational opportunities, develop themselves, and grow into valuable contributors to their families, communities, and the nation. The Bangchak Refinery Education Fund remains committed to developing the potential of young learners and building a brighter future for Thailand.
