Disabled British Man Robbed by Three Companions He Met on Pattaya Beach

PATTAYA, Thailand – A 61-year-old British tourist, Mr. Glennon, who is speech-impaired and relies on a wheelchair, was robbed of his belongings at a hotel in Central Pattaya on July 16th, 2025. The incident was reported to the Pattaya City Police Station at 12:16 AM.

According to authorities, Mr. Glennon lost about 6,000 Thai baht in various currency. He informed the police that he had engaged the companionship services of three individuals—two Thai women and one transgender woman—whom he met at Pattaya beach to alleviate his loneliness. Upon returning to his hotel room, Mr. Glennon went to take a shower, expecting to spend time with his companions. However, when he emerged, he discovered that the three individuals had left, and his cash was missing.

Distraught, Mr. Glennon promptly reported the theft to the police. Deputy Investigator Lt. Aniruj Jeahora of the Pattaya City Police Station recorded the incident and coordinated with the investigative team to review CCTV footage from the area. Authorities have obtained several leads, including a copy of an ID card provided by the suspects to the hotel. The police are actively pursuing the suspects to bring them to justice under Thai law.

The investigation remains ongoing as officers work to track down the suspects involved in this distressing incident.

This took place one day after an American tourist reported an early morning pickpocketing and assault by two transgender women in North Pattaya.

In May, a similar situation took place when an Australian man in a wheelchair said he was robbed under similar circumstances by a woman he met on Pattaya Beach.
