Pattaya/Chonburi-

Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), revealed progress on the venue selection for the Tomorrowland music festival. The organizers have finalized a private location in Chonburi province, deemed ideal for hosting a large-scale music festival and conveniently close to Bangkok, facilitating easy travel. The proximity to Suvarnabhumi, U-Tapao, and Don Mueang airports will help attract international tourists to attend the concert and explore Thailand.

Chonburi also offers ample accommodations, with hotels and local communities well-prepared to welcome visitors.

“The Tomorrowland festival organizers have confirmed that they will hold the event in Thailand for the first time in December 2026. The inaugural event will span three days, expecting to draw tens of thousands of attendees. The contract is set for a minimum of five years, as the investment is not intended for a short-term project,” Ms. Thapanee stated.

Government support will involve an average budget of 10 million USD, considered a reasonable amount. The total project budget is estimated at 1,000 million baht. The format and duration of the event in each country depend on the organizers and negotiations for government incentives, such as those from the Board of Investment (BOI). Beyond the concert, Tomorrowland will bring an academy and event academy, enhancing the capabilities of Thai event organizers for large-scale music events, as Tomorrowland is regarded as the world’s top music festival.
