At the scene, authorities found three middle-aged men engaged in a fierce argument. One man, identified as Suradet Chaichanaklang, 41, a disabled former soldier who relies on a wheelchair, was bleeding profusely from a head wound. His girlfriend, also disabled, sat nearby in distress, watching over him.

Suradet, however, told a different story. He claimed Noi insulted him before suddenly striking him with a liquor bottle. “I didn’t even get a chance to say anything,” Suradet said. “I just saw the bottle coming down on my head.”
Rescue workers provided first aid at the scene before transporting Suradet to a nearby hospital. Initially, Suradet refused to leave, concerned for his girlfriend’s safety, but authorities eventually persuaded him to go.
A 40-proof bottle of white liquor was found at the scene, and investigators believe all involved were heavily intoxicated, as their statements were incoherent and contradictory. Police are continuing their investigation and plan to press charges against Noi for assault.
